Policy & Ethics Roundtable in Brazil
We held a policy and ethics roundtable under the leadership of Lula, the President of Brazil, at the UNGA 80. With a focus on AI geopolitics, the roundtable addressed the rise of AI as America and China battle for global AI supremacy and dominance. Under the title: Geopolitics of AI: The Clash of Four Competing Worldviews, an upcoming book by Dr Jean Narcisse Djaha, AI experts expressed their concerns about the rise of geopolitics in technology in general, with a particular focus on the Global South, still behind in the innovation race.
